- Check that the information you rely on is high quality, even when it is peer reviewed research.
- Use caution with artificial intelligence (AI) tools - they can 'hallucinate' (make up) scholarly article citations.
- With AI, consider Reliability, Objective, Bias, Ownership, Type (ROBOT test)
- Quick tip: Look up a citation in Google Scholar. If there are no results, it is likely a made up citation.
