What is UpToDate?

"UpToDate authors and editors synthesize the available clinical evidence and best clinical practices to help you provide high-quality care to your patients and high standards of research." (source).

In short, it is a point-of-care tool to support decision-making and patient education.

Who has access to UpToDate?

If you have a UW NetID that gives you access to UW Libraries resources, you should be able to access UpToDate. This should include students, residents, faculty, and staff of the UW and employees and trainees of UW Medicine.
