UpToDate Help Guide

UpToDate's Drug Interactions section includes a limited amount of drug information for patient care from Lexicomp (the UW has access to 20-40% of the information available via Lexicomp).

For full drug info, the Collection & Research Services Librarian recommends using DynaMedex instead; DynaMedex combines the evidence-based clinical decision making tool of DynaMed with the pharmaceutical information of Micromedex. More info below.

To find information from Micromedex, you may: 

1. Go to DynaMedex 
2. Search for a drug in DynaMedex.
3. Review content powered by Micromedex.

To search Micromedex directly, you may:

1. Go to DynaMedex 
2. Click on Micromedex in the upper right.
3. Search Micromedex directly in the new tab that opens in your browser.
