Collecting guidelines for French & Italian Studies materials at UW Libraries (Seattle).

Location of Materials

Suzzallo and Allen Libraries are the major locations for the French and Italian language and literature print collection.
Electronic resources may be found on the French Studies Research Guide, the Italian Studies Research Guide and via UW Libraries Search.
Microform collections are in the Microforms-Newspapers Section.
There are some translated works (into English) and related titles in the Odegaard Undergraduate Library, Drama Library, Art Library, Bothell and Tacoma libraries.
Rare books, manuscripts and unique collections may be found in Special Collections.
Specialized encyclopedias, dictionaries, concordances, and bibliographies may be located in the Reference Section in Suzzallo Library. We also have many relevant online reference tools.
DVDs and streaming videos (feature films and documentaries), spoken word recordings (poetry, history, biography), and recorded music are in Suzzallo and Allen Libraries, in the Music Library, or online.
