The UW Libraries hold physical copies of dissertations written by UW students before 2013.  From 2013 forward, most UW dissertations will only be available online through UW Libraries ResearchWorks Service. 

To locate physical and online dissertations, use the UW Libraries Search  Try using the Advanced Search in the following ways:

• By  subject:
  
   
• By  author or By  title
  
  
  
• By  topic - use the Any search and combine the phrase "theses" with a topical keyword(s):
  • theses information behavior
  • theses classification
  • theses personal information management
• By Browsing dissertations: Information Science dissertations are shelved under the call number Z665 on the 1st floor of Allen Library South.
