Seattle Theatre Archives: Personal Papers

A guide to selected primary materials relating to theatrical companies and the history of theatre in Seattle available in Special Collections.

Personal Papers

A majority of the personal papers chosen for inclusion in this guide document the lives and careers of actors, playwrights, directors, or others involved in Seattle theatre. Other collections were created by researchers interested in various aspects of Seattle theatre history. These collections may contain correspondence, scripts, programs or other ephemera, and, occasionally, photographs (although large sets of visual materials generally have been transferred to form separate photograph collections). Highlights include the papers of: Leon Behar, Florence Bean James, Don Paulson, and Albert N. Youngman.
