Collections of Theatre Programs

Collections of programs from theatres in the Seattle area and beyond, compiled and donated to the University of Washington. Sets of programs from specific theatres, as well as some souvenir programs may be found in Special Collections or other locations by checking the catalog. A brief sampling is included in the guide.

Laura Hartstein collection of theater programs
A collection of theater programs on Jewish themes for productions given mostly at Seattle theatres.
Intiman Theatre Programs
Intiman Theatre published issues of its programs, titled "Encore."
H. David Kaplan collection of New York theater and opera programs
H. David Kaplan worked as a reporter and editor for newspapers and magazines and held various positions in corporate communications. He has worked with the Houston Grand Opera and was Associate Publisher for Houston's Performing Arts Magazine. Kaplan currently serves on the Board of Trustees of the Pacific Northwest Ballet. The collection consists of theatre and opera programs primarily from New York City, but also from venues around the U.S. and Canada.
Seattle Repertory Theatre Programs
Seattle Repertory Theatre has published its programs under various titles, including: The Seattle Repertory Theatre [1963-1970]; Seattle centerstage [1970-1981]; Centerstage [1979-1981; and Encore [1981- ].
