Textual Studies and Digital Humanities: Journals

This guide supports UW's undergraduate Minor in Textual Studies and Digital Humanities and the Graduate Certificate in Textual and Digital Studies.

Finding Scholarly Journals

Journal Search

Why should I use Journal Search?

Because it connects you to thousands of print and electronic journals. Every scholar in the Humanities should consider consulting specific journals.

Tip: If you Google a particular journal’s special number – its ISSN – then you can just plug that ISSN into Journal Search. For example, if you Google “modern language quarterly ISSN,” you easily find the number is 0026-7929. You can then search that number and find the journal at the UW in print and electronic formats.
