Collection Guidelines: Jewish Studies : UW Libraries Locations

These are the guidelines by which materials are purchased for the Jewish Studies collections of the UW Libraries (Seattle Campus).

Location of Materials

Suzzallo and Allen Libraries are the major locations for the collection in print.
Electronic resources may be found on the Jewish Studies Research Guide.
Microform collections are in the Microforms-Newspapers Section.
There are some duplicate and supplementary titles in the Odegaard Undergraduate Library, Bothell and Tacoma libraries.
Special Collections holds the archives of the Washington State Jewish Historical Society. These are largely unpublished materials and oral history documenting the Jewish experience in Washington, primarily of the greater Seattle area.
Jewish Studies-related videotapes and films are found in the University Libraries Media Center, the Middle East Center.
The Map Collection and Cartographic Information Services, Reference, Government Publications, and Special Collections units all contain relevant material.
