Special Collections is a great resource for all your Pacific Northwest primary source needs!

Background Information

Student activism in the 1960s and 1970s was a hot button topic on UW's campus. Student's organized around a wide variety of topics, including race, gender, the Vietnam War, and labor. There are a lot of different resources in Special Collections on many of these issues depending on your particular topic we can pull newspapers, student group records, or published materials discussing how students talked about and worked on these issues.
