Founded in 2004 by UW History Professor Quintard Taylor, and now with the equivalent of well over 10,000 pages of information, BlackPast.org is the most extensive online source on worldwide Black history currently available. It is dedicated to providing a global audience with reliable and accurate information on the history of African America and of people of African ancestry around the world.
