Financial Support

The Library appreciates your support! Monetary gifts to the Library enable us to fund collections and activities that enhance the teaching and research mission of the library and our campus community.

We appreciate your support!

Gifts of books and other materials

The University of Washington's Gift Acceptance Policy determines that the university “will accept only gifts it believes will benefit the University and its mission.” Accordingly, the Campus Library accepts donations of books and media that are in good condition and that will enrich our curriculum-focused collection. If you have items you would like us to consider adding to the collection, please contact Hannah Mendro by email (preferred) or phone to discuss the content and condition of your donation. All donations must be approved by the Head of Collections.

Please understand that we are not able to accept gifts that do not fit our current curricular needs or do not meet our condition requirements. We are unable to accept gifts that have not been approved in advance.

We invite you to review the UW Libraries Gifts Program for more information about condition requirements, use, gift acknowledgment, and other policies related to material donations before contacting us about your donation.
