My last name is two words: Dimmit Smyth
I was born in New Jersey, lived briefly in Arizona, but primarily grew up in southwest Missouri (the Ozarks, colloquially).
I'm a huge soccer fan, and avidly watch the US Women's and Mens' National Teams, Sporting Kansas City, and OL Reign.
My cat's name is Jane, and she was named for the character (and the book) Jane Eyre.

Land Acknowledgment:The University of Washington Bothell & Cascadia College Campus Library occupies Land that has been inhabited by Indigenous Peoples since time immemorial. Specifically, this campus is located on Sammamish Land from which settler colonists forcibly removed Coast Salish Peoples to reservations in the mid-19th century.
