Finding Books using UW Libraries Search

Type your keywords into the purple UW Libraries Search box above. Once you find an available item, write down the call number and location:

Choosing keywords to seach for:

  • More keywords = fewer results. Fewer keywords = more results.

Too many irrelevant results? Refine your results using filters:

  • Use Resource Type (on the left of your search results) to narrow your search for Books
  • Use Library (on the left of your search results) to narrow your search to UW Bothell/CCC Library materials
  • Click the Available in the Library link (just above your search results) to narrow your search to materials that are not checked out

Books at Local Public Libraries

Try searching for books about your topic at your local public library.

Use Google Books to find books online. Some may include partial full-text of the book's contents.
