Need Permission?

The When & How You Can Use a Work guide describes many ways you can legally use the works of others without the need to ask permission or get a license, and the Open Media Resources guide provides places to search for content you can use freely. However, sometimes you will need to use a work in a way that requires permission or licensing. Here are a few places to start learning more about getting permission to use a work:
