This site is designed to help adults improve basic literacy skills using current news stories. Each module includes the full text of the story, audio and video clips, and interactive activities to test comprehension.
These free online materials from Goodwill Community Foundation cover basic technology, literacy, and math skills. Separate sections focus on Everyday Life, Math & Money, Computer Training, and Work & Career. There is also a Learning to Read module.
Daily Grammar is a fun, convenient way to learn grammar. By simplifying complex grammar subjects, Daily Grammar is a great teaching tool for both public and home-schooled children, ESL students, and anyone needing to refresh English grammar skills.
Online tutoring is available to all currently enrolled Cascadia students through the Western eTutoring Consortium. Students are asked to limit their usage of eTutoring to 10 sessions per quarter.

Land Acknowledgment: The University of Washington Bothell & Cascadia College Campus Library occupies Land that has been inhabited by Indigenous Peoples since time immemorial. Specifically, this campus is located on Sammamish Land from which settler colonists forcibly removed Coast Salish Peoples to reservations in the mid-19th century. Today, descendants of the Sammamish are members of several Coast Salish communities.
