Technical Writing Essentials by APA Style now has multiple possibilities for citing the kinds of resources you use in your capstone work: data sets, YouTube videos, online forums, online courses or MOOCs, and more. You may want to consider citing your sources in this style as it has guidelines for all of these.
Your instructor recommends that you use Zotero to manage your citations in this class. Zotero (pronounced "zoh-TAIR-oh") is free software that helps you collect, manage, and cite research sources.
Zotero allows you to attach PDFs, notes, and images to your citations. It also allows you to organize them into collections for different projects, and create bibliographies using Word or other word processing software.
