The library's Graphic Novel and Manga collection is located on the library's first floor to the left of the main stairs, and includes items with call numbers in the PN 6700s, including comic and graphic novel criticism. (If you're looking for Anime, check out our media collection that also is on the 1st floor!)
When searching for comics, graphic novels, or manga, searching by the item's title, author(s) or artist(s) is a good start. If you don't have that information try using phrases like comics or comic books; graphic novels, graphic fiction, or graphic narratives; sequential art or sequential narratives; or manga in combination with other search terms.
For example, if you wanted to find a graphic novel featuring jazz, your search phrase might be graphic novels and jazz. If you were looking for manga featuring adolescence, your search would be manga and adolescence. You might want to narrow your search by adding other keywords (e.g., history and criticism).
For materials that available at the Campus Library, use the Library filter in the left sidebar and select UW Bothell/CC Library.
If you scroll further down into the item's record in UW Libraries Search you can use the links in the LCSH and PCI subjects or Genre/form fields to browse and locate more titles or search term ideas:
