African American Research & Archival Collections in the Pacific Northwest Collection: Books and other Lilbrary Materials

This guide highlights archival and printed materials, photographs, and moving image collections available in Special Collections that relate to Black communities, political groups, and civil rights movements in the Pacific Northwest.

The UW Libraries circulating and Special Collections hold published works on the African American experience in the Pacific Northwest.  Use the online search to explore titles in print and online formats.  Online materials are available to researchers with a UW netid or for researchers on-site in the UW Libraries.
