Quick Tips: Timing is everything!
- The earlier you start searching, the more awards will be available
- Ideally, start searching a year before you will need the funds
- Most deadlines for scholarships, fellowships, and grants are 6-12 months before they pay out
- Assistantships have quicker turnaround times, often months to weeks before the start date
