Email us for help learning how to search for funding, including:

  • An informational email
  • A presentation for a UW department, school, organization, or class
  • Unfortunately, we are not able to provide individualized lists of awards
  • Services can only be provided to current students or those who have received an offer of admission, prospective students should reach out to the admissions contact in their department for information

Quick Tips: Timing is everything!

  • The earlier you start searching, the more awards will be available
  • Ideally, start searching a year before you will need the funds
  • Most deadlines for scholarships, fellowships, and grants are 6-12 months before they pay out
  • Assistantships have quicker turnaround times, often months to weeks before the start date
