The main floor of the Music Library includes the check-out desk, workstations, scanner and printer, seating, reference materials, and scores. The downstairs stacks house most of our print books, journals, and media collection.

Print materials are arranged according to Library of Congress subject headings and call numbers.

• M = musical scores
• ML = musical literature (biographies, books on the history of music, thematic catalogs, etc.)
• MT = music instruction or teaching (music theory texts, analyses, method books, etc.
