The Future of Nursing Initiative & the Affordable Care Act

The Institute of Medicine (health arm of the National Academy of Sciences) and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation assembled a national panel of health care experts that met from 2008 to 2010 to discuss the role of nurses in transforming the current health care system. Their final report was published in Oct. 2010 and is titled, “The Future of Nursing: Leading Change, Advancing Health."

The Affordable Care Act , Section by Section

On June 28, 2012 the Supreme Court rendered a final decision to uphold the health care law.
