BCcampus Pressbooks Guide

  • Pressbooks guide from British Columbia's Open Education group that builds on the Pressbooks User Guide.

Pressbooks FAQ

  • FAQ guide created by Pressbooks with sections on general Pressbooks information, book creation, and accounts.

  • How-to tutorial videos created by PressbooksEDU, the UW's Pressbooks hosting service

Cascadia’s Guide to Pressbooks

  • Guide created by Cascadia College with a comprehensive overview of Pressbooks and OER as well as information on how to use Presbooks for the Cascadia College community.

BCcampus Pressbooks Tutorials

  • Tutorials created by British Columbia's Open Education group.

Workshops

There are two Pressbooks online trainings that occur every month for users on hosted Pressbooks networks (includes UW):

Getting Started with Pressbooks

  • Online training designed for new Pressbooks users.

Advanced Pressbooks Publishing

  • Online training targeting more complex skills designed for those with some Pressbooks experience. Attend “Getting Started with Pressbooks” training first if you are new to Pressbooks!

The UW Libraries also offers occasional Pressbooks workshops or events. These are typically publicized through the UW Libraries calendar and the Pressbooks users email list.

Consultations

UW Bothell library staff are available to consult with you about using Pressbooks, and to help if you get stuck. Please email uwblds@uw.edu if you have questions or would like to meet for one-on-one assistance.
