Working with Students

If you’re planning to work with students on a project, or if you are a student, the Library’s Open Student Work Guide can help you navigate student rights in open projects. The Library can also help with:

Teaching students about "open" and Creative Commons (Canvas activity, discussion, or both) and answering questions
Designing scaffolded and meaningful open publishing experiences for students
Options for students to indicate whether or not to publish openly (Canvas activity or student agreement forms)

Land Acknowledgment: The University of Washington Bothell & Cascadia College Campus Library occupies Land that has been inhabited by Indigenous Peoples since time immemorial. Specifically, this campus is located on Sammamish Land from which settler colonists forcibly removed Coast Salish Peoples to reservations in the mid-19th century. Today, descendants of the Sammamish are members of several Coast Salish communities.
