  • The Office of Minority Health: The Office of Minority Health is dedicated to improving the health status of racial and ethnic minorities, eliminating health disparities, and achieving health equity in the United States.
  • National Institute on Minority Health and Health Disparities: This NIH institute has a mission to promote minority health and to lead, coordinate, support, and assess the NIH effort to reduce and ultimately eliminate health disparities.
  • Ethnomed: A joint project of UW Health Sciences Library and the Harborview Medical Center's Community House Calls Program. Contains information about cultural beliefs, medical issues and other related issues pertinent to the health care of recent immigrants to Seattle or the US, many of whom are refugees fleeing war-torn parts of the world.
  • Cross Cultural Health Care Program (CCHCP). A nonprofit organization based in Seattle.
