The default search option is " Articles, Books, and More" -- including materials that may go beyond the UW and Summit locations.

Other listed locations/collections are:

  • UW Libraries + Summit: Searches not only all UW Libraries, but also items available at libraries around Washington, Oregon, and Idaho with whom UW has partnerships.
  • UW Libraries: Searches all UW Libraries locations including UW Bothell, Cascadia College, and UW Tacoma.
  • Gallagher Law Library: Searches law library at UW.
  • UW Special Collections: Searches UW Libraries' rare and archival materials.

3. Select the desired location or collection and click Enter.

Option B

1. Alternatively, you can use Refine My Results, located on the left of the screen, scroll to Library, and make a selection as to which library or collection you want to limit your search to. For example, if you only want to search the music library, select that option then click Apply Filters.
