About Bloomberg

  • Bloomberg is a financial platform that provides real-time data, news and analytics.
  • Bloomberg requires specialized training available through business-school finance classes or self-paced tutorials on the terminal.

Bloomberg Terminals at UWB

Terminal location and hours:

There are 10 Bloomberg terminals (plus two Bloomberg laptops) located in the UW Bothell School of Business' Financial Lab (room 205) at the Beardslee Building (UWBB). The terminals are accessible during the building's hours of operation.

Terminal login:

  1. UWB students and faculty must login to the terminal desktop with a UW NetID.
  2. Enter the Bloomberg interface and follow the prompt to create an individual login.
  3. Type into the search bar to begin a search.

Bloomberg Market Concepts (BMC) e-course:

Business school students can take the Bloomberg Market Concepts (BMC) self-paced e-learning course for free through the UWB. The course must be completed in person at the Bloomberg Terminals in UWBB. Students who wish to complete the BMC will need to contact their business professor about getting a link to access the course. Read more about the BMC.

For help with the physical terminal or with the Bloomberg interface:

  • For content issues, refer to the Bloomberg customer service number/chat available on the terminal. Bloomberg offers 24/7 customer support.
  • For equipment-related issues, contact UWB IT
