Bob Nelson Collection of Folk Music: Nancy Hubbard

A guide to the artists and recordings represented in the Bob Nelson Collection of Folk Music.

About Nancy Hubbard

I met Nancy in 1957 when several of us formed a singing group that performed at schools and nursing homes. She was the daughter of "Pearl Wanamaker", Washington State Director of Public Education. As you will hear in her recordings, she had a fabulous voice. I last heard of her when she moved to Kentucky in the early 1960's. I recommend you listen to recording #NRR037, cut # 12 , "The Water Is Wide."
