Bob Nelson Collection of Folk Music: Larry Kiefer

A guide to the artists and recordings represented in the Bob Nelson Collection of Folk Music.

About Larry Kiefer

Larry is someone I never met, yet I always heard a lot about him from friend Patti DiLudovico. She and Larry became close friends back in Wichita, where they performed together often at "The Id" coffee house. Larry also performed with the late Joannie O'Bryant and he was very popular with the local hoot crowd. I have heard from several old acquaintances of his. Larry's voice is very well trained, as you will hear. And he obviously had perfected his guitar style. I have heard that he had moved to Los Angeles, worked in the film industry, and has since passed away.
