A guide to the artists and recordings represented in the Bob Nelson Collection of Folk Music.

About Maggie Savage

Maggie Savage became an instant hit in Seattle during the World's Fair of 1962. It was then that she, and her late husband Mike Molaso opened the "92 Yesler." This folk club became very popular with the crowds of World Fair visitors.

Maggie has a very strong voice and guitar and is revered for her excellent performances. She has evolved into a superb song writer and has become a cult figure with her feminist music and song of personal affirmation. She now lives with her partner on Shaw Island, in the San Juan Islands. More information available here.
