Prior to the creation of the publication Statistical Yearbook of the Imigration and Nationalization Service in 1978, immigration statistics from the INS were published in the department's annual report. This report has been known by different names over time. The following titles can be found in the UW libraries:
The Congressional Research Service (CRS), a division of the Library of Congress, writes most of the briefs for Congress, providing high-quality research and analysis.
